I Look Fabulous, Of Course

I'm just back from the hair salon where I spent all our money. My hair was in such bad shape that they actually took before and after pictures of me. When I washed it, I was anticipating them fixing it for me, so I just threw it into a bun and didn't do anything to it. So when it came down, it was a mess. The hairstylists are all trying to win a trip to New York, something to do with their new straightening products, so they used my rat's nest hair to try to do so.

This afternoon, I had a call from the salon. Would I like a half price facial after my hair appointment? Um, yes, please. (Actually, I said no, and then called them back an hour later to change my mind.) I am now considering getting some kind of weekend job and having my paycheck sent directly to this salon/spa so that I could go every day. I shall stop washing my own hair and just have them do it for me!

I will upload some pictures of my fabulousness later, but I have too much packing to do at the moment.

The dogs are at the kennel already, since we leave too early tomorrow to drop them off. The little dog tried as hard as a twenty pound dog can try to not be packed up and taken in the car. Trin was willing to go anywhere, especially if we brought that nice bag of food and treats that I packed up for them. Trin will be enrolled in Doggie Day Care every other day while we are gone. The little dog will be permitted to cower in the corner of his crate with no one bothering him. The kennel we left them with in Idaho handed out little dog report cards after their visits. Trin's said things like "I loved playing at camp! My favorite things were playing fetch, playing with other dogs, getting attention. I ate very well." The little dog's said "I ate only at night. My favorite activity was hanging in my pad." So I didn't even bother enrolling him in Doggie Day Camp and he'll just stew in his crate the whole time. He and Trin are rooming together so that should help.

Okay, off to pack and finish the laundry!

They gave the dogs report cards? I can't fathom what they would say about my girls.

I can't wait to see the pictures! Can you include the before and afters?
If my Rizzo got a report card it would say "Slept in bed all day so that when Mommy and Daddy came home, bed was unrecognizable. No need to eat or go out, bed was enough."
Have fun in Vegas :)

You tease us with your dramatic before and after and then tell me you haven't put up pictures yet? I am an instant gratification kinda gal - you're killing me Smalls!

I can imagine what they'd write on report cards for our dogs and it wouldn't be anything nice or good!
